Whether conservative or liberal, why does anybody want to reelect him when he has broken virtually all the promises he made except to pass a healthcare bill which could bankrupt the country, has added trillions to the national debt, enacted multiple attacks on civil liberties, and done essentially nothing to improve the economy. (today, the economic growth for the year was adjusted from a measly 1.7% to just 1.3%)

I have a brother that needs help with drug addiction. He is currently incarcerated and I need to help him if I can. We live in Missouri and I have tried several centers but with a sexual offense they won’t accept him. He accepted a plea bargain for jail time. He claims he didn’t do it but they scared him. I am desperate and would really like to help him find somewhere that is a free program or one he can work while he gets help.

I’m very interested in getting a job at a drug rehab clinic, but I do not have a college degree. I did go to college for 4 years, but I had to drop out for financial & personal reasons. Having dealt with drug/alcohol addiction in my family, I feel like this would be a good career path to pursue. I’d like to know what kinds of jobs at these types of facilities are available to people without a degree. If anyone has any serious information, that would be great.

He got in trouble living with his father in Arkansas, proceeded to be a theif, thinks he should be able to do what he wants and not what he is told. He has gone through drug rehab for smoking pot with my ex-husband. Now he is on 1 yr probation, with 50 hrs community service and has to see a psycologist with me present also. The 2nd week of school he skipped 3 days in 1 week. What do you do with a child like this?????? I am clueless…….

The verdict is the decision in your case by what you have said it would be guilty. As for the outcome of being guilty of possession of a controlled substance (only 2) It would most likely be probation and a drug evaluation (to see if rehab is in order)…………R

The #1 killer drug in the world is tobacco. Nothing else comes close, but the distant second substance is alcohol. As part of Plan Colombia, the US is backing the aerial spraying of herbicides in Colombia to eradicate coca crops. However, the herbicides don’t discriminate between coca and bananas, and people in the region are rightly upset when “innocent” crops are destroyed and concerned about health and safety issues. If the US has the right to spray these herbicides in Colombia, then don’t the many countries that are often forced to accept US tobacco into their markets have the right to destroy the tobacco growing in Kentucky and North Carolina?
