So I messed up and got a misdemeanor possession charge for marijuana. My probation is a year and I’ve been on it for 3 months now, about 7 to go. I have taken a substance evaluation and paid off all my fines but I also failed my first drug test. I still have to take a DUI class and do community service for failing (work alternative program).

Ever since I was 9, my life has been going downhill for me. I was adoptedd at 10 months because my mother was a dug addict and diabetic, schetzofrenic, and poor. My father was unknown. My parents told me when I was about 8 or 9. I began stealing from my family, having little run aways, and having sex with boys my age at nine years old. At 10, I was molested by my brothers friend who was 16, and my 22 year old couisen, what seems very close to every day for about a year. In the 7th grade, my friends in school outed me for being gay, without my consent. I was bullied all the time, harrased, chased after school, threats and rocks thrown at my house… untill the 9th grade, where I started fighting back, and eventually was kicked out of school. That’s when I really started getting bad.

I was taking Wellbutrin for a little over a week and I did not notice it working. I was becoming increasingly more depressed to the point I was thinking about suicide. Today I was reading the pamphlet and it mentioned that the drug can cause suicidal thoughts and to stop taking it. Needless to say I am going to discontinue use. My question is, whay would this happen? If the drug is supposed to make depression go away, why would it make mine worse??? Does anyone know a good antidepressants I can try? Preferably one that also relieves anxiety and compulsive urges?
